Nappedam Bådelaug |
|
Nappedam Bådelaug (Nappedam marina) is located at the bottom (i.e North end) of Kalø Vig, in Egens Vig and with the castle ruins of Kalø Slotsruin as a neighbour. Some pilot books describes the route to Nappedam marina as somewhat difficult - which is rubbish !. When approaching from South there is a very clear guiding mark which is the large windmill located at the top of Vrinners Hoved (a hill located southeast of the marina. Head for the windmill until you are close enough to see the red bouy (Fl(3)R,10s) southeast of reef - at the bottom of the windmill hill (Vrinners Hoved). When you see the red bouy use that as your heading. Keep the red bouy close to port while clearing the reef and the head straight for the marine. The area inside the reef is large enough for our Tuesday night club races so you have plenty of room. Close to the castle ruins of kalø Slotsruin you will find two anchor bouys. The are however only allowed for members of the Danish Sailing Association - Dansk Sejlunion. Nappedam is a very cosy marina with very good facilities and a friendly atmosphere. The only real thing missing is shopping opportunities which is 2 kms away in the town of Rønde. There is a bus going past the marine and the blue bicycles on the marina are available for free. In the clubhouse - which is open for all visitors we have a small shop with icecream, snack, softdrinks, beer etc. All members have key to the shop and should be able to help you anytime. The mooring fees in the marine is paid by self service. Envelopes for payment are found at the club house porch.
Århus
bugten - the bay inside Århus and especially Egens Vig is a
always a very nice area for sailing. The bay is rather protected and
have quite flat waters which make excellent sailing. And the
surrounding nature is just beautiful.
